ポタリーのラベンダー。鎌倉山は湿度が高くてイングリッシュラベンダーがお庭では育ちません。かろうじてボックスに植えてあるラベンダーグロッソが元気で今年も爽やかに咲き始めました。
この季節になると思い出すのはCotswolds, Snowhill (スノーヒル）のラベンダー畑。地平線まで続く紫のカーペットは初夏の風物詩です。さわやかな夏の香りを想うだけで暑さが凌げますね。
ハーブのなかでも活用方法が多岐にわたるラベンダー。ただ眺めているだけで元気をもらえる花です。
ポタリーのラベンダーのチンキで手指消毒液を作る予定です。皆様にお裾分けいたしますね。

I remember the firm in England where we see the superb purple carpet to the horizon. I read the news that they would reopen the firm this summer!
They don't open the tea room, but they welcome our picnic. I imagine my friends will come to see the flowers with a picnic basket.
