雨の週末。植物たちにとっては恵みの雨ですね。ただいま庭ではエキナセアはもちろんのことジニア、リナリア、サルビアなど夏らしい花が大きくなってきました。
一昨年の冬に種から育てたバーベナボナリエンシス。バーベナは種類が多い花ですが中でも3尺バーベナとも呼ばれる背の高いスラリとした姿のこの花はイギリスの夏の庭で必ずお目にかかります。ボナリエンシスは季節が終わると種を飛ばすので今年も意外な場所で出会いました。
小さな花に蜂や蝶が集まります。風に揺られながらゆりかごのように小さな虫たちに蜜を与える優しい花。花の言葉は
”幸運を”
As expected, it rains all day today. So no more gardening, just walking around the garden to check that everything is all right.
Verbena bonariensis is one of my favorite flowers which gets taller and has a slender figure. They spread the seeds at the end of season and grow here and there in the garden.
The language of flower is "Good luck!".
It's good for gift, isn't it.
